James is a real estate investor and an executive leader. He is a Registered Representative of Finalis Securities LLC – a broker-dealer based in New York City (member FINRA/SIPC). He specializes in finding attractive alternative investment opportunities that are too small for institutions but more fitting for individual investors. He has strategic partners with successful, experienced operators of apartment communities. And Self storage and industrial assets. He helps accredited investors access commercial real estate deals that provide great risk-adjusted returns, tax advantages, passive income, and equity upside.

James is also vice president/CFO of a regional engineering firm in the Gulf Coast. He oversees the financial management of this firm and is a registered professional engineer in Louisiana, Texas and Mississippi. He has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Bucknell University, a master’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, and a MBA degree with a focus on finance from Tulane University.

Desmoine West is the Managing Partner of Phase One Capital, LLC in New York City.  Mr. West founded Phase One Capital in 2013 to become a preeminent full-service investment bank focused on middle market private equity, secondary and real estate investment opportunities.  Prior to Phase One Capital, Mr. West was a Managing Director with Ridgeway Capital Group and prior to that, was a Product Specialist for Alternative Investments with PineBridge Investments.  He received an MBA with dual concentrations in finance and accounting from the University of Chicago, Booth Graduate School of Business.  He currently holds the Series 7, 24, 27, 31, 63 and 79 registrations with FINRA.

Louis Rodriguez is Managing Member of the Cypress Organization – a vertically integrated apartment investment and management company focused on the acquisition, improvement, management and long-term ownership of apartment communities along the Gulf Coast. In addition, Mr. Rodriguez has earned the coveted designation of Certified Property Manager (CPM^®).

The Cypress Organization own and operate nine communities in seven submarkets totaling more than 1,200 units.
